School Water Filtration Project

Drinking water quality in many schools are not good in our area. Many fetal elements mainly Iron is found in the drinking water. Also the percentage of TDS is also high. It causes various diseases. For the purpose to remove these problems and supplying safe drinking water for the students, SGUS decided to install good quality of water Filtration plants in few schools. So far SGUS was able to mobilize fund from HAVE & Rotary Club of Halliburton, CANADA to install 20 (twenty) such filters in 20 different Primary and H.S.schools in Purba Medinipur district. The students & teachers are now getting good quality of water from these filters.
